War bombs & riots.

As it has always been, my Sunday mornings are always prioritized for Sunday service celebration. Today though, has been a little hassle for the people who wanted to seek the Lord, as the Malaysian Indians were having a peaceful demonstration against the British government. They wanted to be heard, to be fairly treated and wanted their rights back. Having said that, similar to last few week's protest, the government police has sprayed chemical water and tear gases to the open crowd. I've personally witnessed the whole incident because my church was actually in Menara T.A. (opposite KLCC). Initially the crowd was very united, they were just standing around without creating problems of anyhow. Only when the police had shot tear gases, it aggravated the crowd and they started picking up the tear bombs and throwing it back to the police. It really looks funny and cool, to how once the tear gas lands at the crowd and rolls, they worked together to pour water on it to stop gas from coming out. That's something new I've learned today. Didn't know water can run out tear gas, like it's fire. It really angers me after watching the replay of it on Al-Jazeera, of how the police have acted brutally towards the crowd. If they buggers don't aggravate the crowd, it would be a total peaceful demonstration. And people won't be injured! Totally reminds me of the American 2000 Democratic National Convention. Lets all hope and pray that our country remains peaceful, in spite how much of a dirty government we could've been living in.

So long Cyberjaya.

I'm leaving Cyberjaya for good this week. I'm gonna be moving out soon to Perth, and I'm not gonna have the chance to moan and groan about how boring Cyber is. Regardless, it's still a big part of my life. I've spent years here with my friends, driving through every corners of the roads and sometimes even spend time doing the most unnecessary things ever that I won't bother typing at all. I remembered how I moved in with Alba and them in Puchong, then moving to Cyber with Pam. Man I really miss those moments. The tiring walk from the my far parked car, to the never-ending visitor passes. I'm certain that I'm gonna remember all the times I've spent here for a very, very long time. School sucks, but my experience with friends here, priceless.

Having said that, I'm also leaving her as well, which I don't know how am I ever going to. For like, a year. I really hope and pray she'll get through the whole two semesters well. Not forgetting, that I also hope we'll be constantly in touch. Man, this is going to be hard. As for the guys, there are like nine of us right? You'll so totally be missing out my complaints and all.

I'd say that I'm not like most others, as I don't prefer to adapt to a whole new environment. I don't like the whole parting thing. As much of a loner I am, I have to admit that I really can't go anywhere be myself without the close people around me. It's not going to be that bad, but I'll always need my close companions by my side, and I mean it. My family, her, and my best friends. I am not going to cry! I hope. Ah heck who cares, what's wrong feeling a lil' sad. So long Cyberjaya. So long people. I love all of you.

Aeroline.

On the 26th, Pam and I will be going to Singapore for a couple of days. Just to take a break from the never-ending semester that will finally end next week. Will probably lay back all the way and not think about work for these couple of months, and I mean it. I've been so bumped out ever since this semester starts. I wouldn't say that I've learned much about anything at all, but more of my interests, research on some new bizarre things. Anyway, about the trip, I'm looking forward that I'll be able to take the Aeroline bus all the way there and back to KL.

From my observation, this bus advertises itself as the 'plane' bus. Not sure whether it's talking about the interior, service or speed. Either one is good enough, but I think all the three things I've said is included. So, yes I'm gonna expect a lot from the bus experience itself. It's so exciting that the lower floor of the bus is a lounge that people can just hang around. This is my only near-experience of a rockstar tour bus, haha. Let's just stop there before I get too high. Below is the picture of the Aeroline Bus and it's interior.

Notice there are only 3 seating space.
Shows you how spacious the seat is.

Lounge at the lower floor.

Now this is more of a real deal.

Too bad I won't get the whole bunker experience.

Love like Rockets.

I went out with Pam to buy her flight ticket back to Jakarta, and along the way we went hunting for I-Empire as well. Once we've reached Tower Records, we immediately felt the familiar tunes. I-Empire was playing in Tower Records! Weirdly, I kinda felt flattered or sorta honored that they were playing Angels and Airwaves, as if I was part of the band. Guess this is what you get if you're so damn crazy about them/ their music. I got so highly excited, as well as Pam and we spread out running like little kids searching for the CD. We were practically all over the place at first.

Matt Wachter as bass.

Then I found the album, and held it in my hands. Oh the joy of showing it to Pam! The joy was indescribable man. I haven't felt that feeling since I last bought BoxCar Racer. I'm not an album collector freak and I wouldn't usually pay 50 bucks for a music album but this one is exceptional. I'd buy for 200 bucks if I have to. And so, me and Pam bought 1 each for ourselves! That's how much I think the songs are worth. It is just so worth it. All their hard work of coming up with the cool concept for the songs and the weird distortions, you can't really say how much to label their album for.

All Pam's collection of their originals.
Mine's only the BCR and I-Empire.
Notice they're two copies of both albums.

Not only that, we've sorta been exposed to their interviews, and sorta past and current lives. It's funny how other people couldn't see the art of their music and how it is bloody awesome but its forgivable cuz' they probably didn't follow up since Blink or never did. Btw, I strongly support Matt being in the band. He definitely fits in more than Ryan, seeing that Matt is much more nice and easy-going as he is. Plus, he had so made the right decision for leaving a band that plays emocrap for a band that is worth playing for (though he gets bullied here and there, but it's all good.) I'm just so happy for them. Of course the top that, the best feeling is the experience of it with Pam throughout all these days. The two people who're overly enthusiastic with Tom's current project, hehe. :)

Triumphs and Buells.

I have recently found out about David Kennedy's bike model, which is the Triumph, and if I'm not mistaken, the Speed Triple. Hopefully he's got that one, cuz I'm all crazy about it. Okay, not up to the extend of being crazy about it. If I were ever a big bike enthusiast, I'd go for the Triumph Speed Triple's bike kinda look, instead of your usual superbike. Now lets break it down with the visuals so I'm much clearer.

Now, this would be the common big bikes that boys love to have,
but there's something yet badder than this look of the bike.

Buells.

Another Buell.

Vaxon Black Magic.
Similar to the Triumph but has a more ascending tank,
and single headlight.

The ever cool Triumph.

Chicks dig Triumphs as well, lol. While the guys dig the chick.

Notice that the Triumph is sorta superbike,
but in a different style of approach.
It's fierce as well, but has a more rather bad ass feel to it.

Chick riding Ducati Monster

So yeah, I'd choose Triumphs way over the common superbikes. I've seen a two caucasian riding one heading from Bangsar, and I gotta tell you these babies are huge and loud! And I'd love to see Tom Delonge getting one himself.

Next up? Hot Rods!

Sense of Belonging.

I really wanna do something I really like in the future. Question is, is it really a job I can earn money doing or merely a hobby? I'm devastated by the reality.
On the bright side of it, although this is the worst semester ever in my college, I still can see myself maturing in thoughts of life, existence and all that. I guess I'm beginning to digest it properly without confusing myself as I always used to. I did learned a whole lot last semester, but it was mostly on my career sneak-peak. But what ever beats self-actualization right?

As I listen to I-Empire, I'm feeling a thousand ways and answers just rush through my head. Having that sense of peace in songs like that, I don't know how do they do it. It's really hard to explain. Listening to it, brings out the right feeling that I have to feel at that moment itself, and I just know that it's right. You can never listen to it without reflecting on yourself, your past, loved ones and God himself.

Every once in a while, I think I'll need to listen to them just to stop the world's time and just think and reflect on who I really am. Well, not actually that, I sort of already understood a part of existence, just whether there's more to it, for me personally. Build me up everyday, God. I feel so tired of chasing after things that the world craves. I'm so tired of putting you aside and looking at things that I thought could satisfy me when I knew it couldn't.

P.s. : Happy Birthday Sophia! I saw your recent picture and you look like Kimora Lee Simmons! YOU GREW FAT. Hahahahahahahaha!

Suited up. Almost.

Just to acknowledge Iylia and Burn for the very professional teamwork there. I'm going off next year, so you guys sort it out for group projects. Don't think you both ever will though, hah! So yeah, propaganda's a fun theme to do. We all learned a lil' bit didn't we?

I-Empire is released!!

Dear anak-anak Angels & Airwaves, I-Empire is out! And kepada anak-anak non-Angels & Airwaves, please don't listen to it, as anak-anak Angels and Airwaves does not want it to be your average joe mainstream music. Go start from scratch. Sekian, terima kasih.

twentyone more to a hundred

This is one of my meaningless say. I'm actually looking to get a Sabian B8 cymbals including splash. And more stands, for a crash-ride. Btw, thats how I play currently. The Paiste pst-3 series has been kinda bothering me, especially the ride. Please bless me financially for worship, God?

Andre, Angel & Shawn

And we went to Angel's advanced 21st birthday party .Thanks for the invite Shawn. Well, I don't really know her too well to write much about her. Though I can write about the event. It was filled with people who love to talk, hah! The thing that amazes me the most is that majority of the people were dancers. Let it be uncle and aunties to teenagers. Every song that comes, they would be so excited to find a partner to dance with. I must say, I stared alot. The uncles were so damn gaya man no kidding. Cool and all with their moves, if you know what I mean. And Bono was invited as well! Good day!

Plymouths and Chevy's.

They're sweet aren't they?
