Healed!

Praise God!
Sophia returned to the States after weeks of having prayer meetings and bible studies with us. She's currently in the States now, and had just told me that she found out about her having a growth and symptoms of thyroid cancer, and she did a medical check up, later finding that its true. Nurses told her it's true, and it struck her that she was going to die. I was going crazy about it. I thought I had to watch another one of my friend go again. But listen, she slapped me with the ending of that she's healed! It was gone overnight! Along with the symptoms! She thought that was it, but she wasn't too shaken of it because she knew God had her back. There were praying and conversations with God, and God delivered her. Sophia's healed! Thank God for that!
And I'm happy that Sophia's made up her mind for good this time.

bowling thursdays

It was couple of weeks ago, that Pam n I decided we were gonna bowl every Thursday. In good hopes, we don't get sick of it too soon. Like how Joey Tribbiani has 'Naked Thursdays', we have Bowling Thursdays. :)

More naked..i mean Bowling Thursdays next time!!

Memories and finding self

Coming up close to almost 5-6 years, and yesterday I've decided to watch Calling's music video. I remember listening to these 2 songs which are one for the best I'd say. Both 'Could it be any harder' and 'Stigmatized'. One of 2 best love songs I've heard ever before.

And I've realized that same exact feeling I've felt 6 years ago when I was listening to it. It's like re-living my past moments all over again. It's bloody touching now that I hear it again, exactly like how I used to hear it. That was even before I've met this friend, who had changed my life entirely. It's really good that I can reflect back on the past, although wasn't too pleasant, at least I know I didn't make drastic changes. Certain people have changed so much throughout years even forgetting themselves in the past, their true selves.

Plus, now that I'm listening to it again, I can totally remember my friend whom I've mentioned above, Eunice, who've shared Christ to me and is now with the Lord. The most memorable months in my life. Not forgetting Shawn who's also part of my childhood. The person who's faced a lot with me when we were kids. At least he's still here.

THE ONE WHERE...

Random pictures taken by phone's camera. Just never had the chance to load it till now, so here it is.

The one where Elvin immitates celebs of MTV Cribs.

The one where Philip decides to not pay attention during prayer discussions.

The one where I got so geram over my dog's cuteness.

The one where I laid down waited for GC's concert for almost like 8 hours ahead?

The one where Patrick decides to take over the wheel.

The one where we had lunch with mum.

Clipse

Back in the days, I remembered blasting my stereos to the beats of Clipse. Yes, back in the days, rap music was my life. Clipse was always my favorite, not like those commercial rappers. One of the reasons why I think their brilliant is because of their rhymes and lyrics, that was extremely different from other rappers talkin' bout shit. Yes, all of them talk shit, still at least these brothers annunciates their word. Founded by Pharrell Williams, this bros have really dope beats (oh shut up, it is the word to express the beats).

Don't really know why they didn't make it too big though. Check it out, if you're curious. I still think rap music videos on shitty MTV should play music such as this, not crappy 50 cent, and snoop anjinggy angjing. All in all, certainly one hell of a good beat to play along when you're balling.

The Bigger Picture

Since March of 05, I've been revealed many spectacular things. Issues of motivation, success, and the spiritual realm. Many, many things have been at such awe to what it appears. News, politics and so on. But I gotta say this, the biggest of the biggest picture that I've seen is God. Nothing beats that. How silly of me in the past, to be thinking that LIFE was just as it is. Didn't even bother giving a thought about it. But God slapped me in the face with the truth, and that is something I cannot hide about anymore. I hafta confess, that God is, indeed everything a person needs.

That's why, for all the biggest people of the world, they somehow don't seem to grab my attention for long. They come and go but only one last forever. The things they say, don't mean as much to me compared to how others hear it. It might be motivational, inspirational, all about opening up our eyes and minds, whatever you call it, but still, STILL, the biggest of the biggest picture comes down to only that one thing.

Worship not in vain

And I hope you will eventually understand it one day too.

Change of Skin

Yes I have made a major change to my blog's skin. It's horrible and I have to bear with it cuz it needs so much effort, which I'm tired of.

We Don't Need to Whisper.

"We Don't Need To Whisper"
Sounds familiar?

If not, that's the name of their first album. That's right, it's Angels and Airwaves and I have to at least have them in one of my posts. Now I'm not all obsessive about em, but I'm here to declare their upcoming and second album, "I-Empire".

Believe me, blogging bands stuff is so random but I'm here to prove you wrong about this one. Why? Because Angels and Airwaves is not just another ordinary rock band. They're not all completely rock, and that's what makes it so special.

If you guy's don't know. It's formed by the ex-Blink 182 and Box Car Racer member, Tom Delonge. First of all, I love Blink! Not as much anymore actually. But I still gotta say, they make great songs. While Blink was still going on, Tom was involved in Box Car Racer (which also involves Travis as their drummer). Then, he left them to form his very own spiritual band, Angels and Airwaves. Unlike his other two ex-band members who went on with Plus 44, which is so "what's so special about that?", when the rest of the people are crazy about them. Oh admit it, it's just cuz of Mark and Travis. If they weren't the members, nobody gives a smack about them. Again, they're just another band who makes another rock music. No big deal.

First of all, Tom so has two sides of himself. The crazy a**hole don't give a f*ck singer/guitarist for Blink and BCR, and the very much toned down fatherly guy in AVA. Now putting his new band aside, I still think he sorta made the right decision by leaving the band. I know, it's sad but he left the band because he said he couldn't go on being the person he wants to be with his daughter, Ava and also making music with Blink. Imagine, being the crazy funny piss in my pants punk and going home being all good daddy with his daughter. I still vote for family first. Way to go, Tom!

About the music, I think it's way beyond indescribable because it's extremely melodic compared to what Blink and BCR was. It's so easy to be a loud and hardcore band, but how many bands actually played with good musicality and not jamming the shit out of themselves? If you think those guys rock, I think these guys rock even more because coming from different bands (Blink, BCR, The Distillers, The Offsprings) these guys set the same goals of wanting to make music that will change the world. Music that will make people look at the world at a different way, and also with the same priorities of friendship, respect and responsibility for their families. Lots of war, politics, God, airplanes, spacesuits and planets. NOBODY EVER MAKES SOUNDS LIKE THEM EVER BEFORE!

Atom Willard, Angels and Airwaves.

If you guys don't buy what I just said, buy the first album, "We Don't Need To Whisper" and hear it for yourselves. But please, don't expect anything like other rock emo crap ass bands.

On the other side, Pam just came back from Singapore and bought me a Macbeth Tee! Thank you thank youu! Apparently, there's this place called Image2001 that sells tees like Macbeth, FSAS, Atticus and again, all other crap bands. The good thing is, these babies are originals, and you can't find ONE original Macbeth tee here in Malaysia. Hell, I've never even seen a fake one before!. Well, correct me if I'm wrong, please do inform me if any of you has seen them. Plus, the same store sells bloody Macbeth shoesss. Holy shmoly!! And yeah by the way, the Macbeth company is founded by Tom too!

Thanks to Pam again that I knew about AVA. Man, she's one Tom lover!

A Pinch of PEREZ HILTON

My preferred topic? Kate Bosworth.
Lately, I have been exposed too much to Perez Hilton's stuff that I cant stop reading. Was and still don't think I am a Hollywood freak. I don't care to know too much of celebrities, really.

Kate Bosworth, one of the very few blondes that I like a lot. Look at her, how could you not like her? Yeah, there's some gossips about her anorexic habits (which is yet to be confirmed- I don't know, haven't been following up) but still, she's beautiful! Unlike other celebs, she has the quality of being rugged and feminine at the same time. (Not easy pull off) Some of her pictures are rather boyish, and thats another reason why I find her attractive. Kate proves that you don't necessarilly have to be hot and have an extreme sexual appeal to look attractive. I'm not saying she's the ideal female celebrity, I just think she's extremely charming!

You might remember her here in the movie BLUE CRUSH.

Kate and her much talked about model boyfriend
.

TRL : Must be Superman Returns

Another point is, Kate's not like any other spoilt brats who're just filthy rich. As far as I know, she's more down to earth than any celebrities ever. Plus, she's athletic! Kate played varsity soccer and lacrosse (too bad we don't have it here). She's always been interested in a professional career as a competitive horse racer and, by the age of fourteen, she was a champion equestrian. Not forgetting her surfing background.

Will try posting more Perez Hilton's stuff in the future. Till then.
